				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Vera Sander is director of the Centre for Contemporary Dance and Professor for Contemporary Dance at the University for Music and Dance Cologne and has since been central to its development as teacher, publisher and organizer. She teaches e.g. contemporary dance, choreography and performance practice. She worked as choreographer, dancer or teacher with e.g. Tanzforum Köln (D), Dansgroep Krisztina de Chatel (NL), Itzik Galili (NL), Semperoper Dresden (D), DV8 (UK), Adventures in Motion Pictures (UK) as well as for a diverse range of international Festivals.</p>
<p>Her interest centers on choreographic and body knowledge as a source for interdisciplinary and intercultural creativity. She has been regularly invited to lead workshops and classes as well as to collaborate to share her research.</p>
<p>She is one of the four speakers of the “Dance Education Conference Germany” and as such member of the steering group of the Dance Education Biennale, a national forum for exchange and encounters between students and teachers that provides a platform for artistic presentations, lectures, workshops and professional trainings to create a lively exchange atmosphere about dance and choreography, as well as about different approaches in education and work between students, teachers, artists, researchers and audience.</p>
<p>She participated in the research project “Dance Techniques 2010” initiated by tanzplan deutschland and is currently occupied with the establishment and development of study programs and exchange formats in the field of dance.</p>
<p>Vera Sander studied at London Contemporary Dance School (UK) and Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Amsterdam (NL).</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yvonne Hardt is a dancer, choreographer and dance scholar. She is professor of Applied Dance Studies and Choreography at the University of Music and Dance Cologne.  Besides her initial contemporary dance formation, she studied theatre studies and history in her hometown Berlin and Montreal, Canada.<br />
After graduating with an MA in history at Concordia University, Montreal, she wrote her dissertation on the political dimensions of German Ausdruckstanz. She was a faculty member of the Theatre Studies department of the FU, and for the academic year 2008/9 she was Assistant Professor for Dance, Choreography and Dance Studies at the University of California, Berkeley.<br />
Her special fields of interests are: development of dance studies on methodological grounds with a special focus on theories of the body and gender, relations between performance and politics, dance history, post-colonial studies, the relationship between choreography and media. Next to her academic career Yvonne Hardt has pursued a successful career as a dancer and choreographer, continuously developing her own choreographic projects.<br />
Her publications include: Politische Körper: Ausdruckstanz, Choreografien des Protests und die Arbeiterkulturbewegung in der Weimarer Republik (Münster: Lit 2004); Sasha Waltz. Interviste sulla coreografia contemporenea. Torino: L’Epos 2006, zusammen mit Martin Stern ist sie Herausgeberinnen von: Choreographie und Institution. Zeitgenössischer Tanz zwischen Ästhetik, Produktion und Vermittlung (Bielefeld: transcript 2011).</p>

Besides her studies she co-creates performances and projects within the professional field.  She joined a project in Senegal with professional dancers specialized in African dance. Furthermore she had the possibility to create a site specific performance in art galleries.  During her  study in Cologne she had the opportunity to work in choreographies by Anouk van Dijk , Yaron Shamir and Georg Reischl.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Salim Ben Mammar was born in Algeria in1988. He is  studying the B.A. program at the Centre for Contemporary Dance at the University of Music and Dance Cologne. Before he became a student he did an apprenticeship as an „Environmental Technician“. Between 2005 and 2007 Salim spent several weeks every year in Paris to take „L’art du deplacement“ (Parcour) classes with William Belle (one of the founders of„Yamakasi“ and „L´art du deplacement“). He worked as a „L´art du deplacement“ teacher and  participated in youth danceprojects at Theater Freiburg. At the Centre for Contemporary Dance he danced in choreographies by Anouk van Dijk and Club Guy and Roni and took part in the site specific production „Afropolis“. He worked with Willi Dorner for ”bodies in urban spaces” in Heilbronn and on urban movement exploration “stadt.macht” with „somebody kollektiv“. Salim has also choreographed his own work „Out of Order“ which was performed in Cologne and Freiburg and a solo work „simply active“.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Jennifer Döring was born in 1989 in Neuss, Germany.<br />
Her dance education started at “TANZRAUM NEUSS- School of Movement and Dance” with classes in free creative and contemporary technique as well as in classical ballet. She took regularly part in school related projects and performances as a dancer, later additionally as choreographic assistance. Intercultural dance experience she gained in the project “Tanzzwischenuns“ between Pskov (Russia) and Neuss from 2002 to 2006. Her first own choreography “Umbra” was created within the scope of “Kompetenznachweis Kultur“-certificate in 2008.<br />
In October, 2010 she entered the B.A. program Dance  at the University of Music and Dance Cologne (Germany).  She gathered further project experience with Stefan Dreher (“Der Dorn”) , Danilo Colonna (Dolby” by Nanine Linning) and  in the intercultural performanceproject “Urban Fragments” with Jay Pather from South Africa.<br />
Recently she danced in the choreography “Thin Ice” by Yaron Shamir in October 2011.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Marja-Leena Hirvonen was born in 1987 in Kitee, Finland.<br />
During the school she was expect from dancing, also teaching ballet and show dance for the kids and youngsters in a society called Kiteen Naisvoimistelijat<br />
From 2005 till 2006 Marja-Leena worked as a show dancer in a showdance group Cat People in Joensuu.<br />
In 2006 she graduated Finnish Matriculation Examination in Kitee, Finland<br />
From autumn 2006 until summer 2007 she did one year dance studies in Karis Volkshögskola (Commiunity Collage) where the practical subjects were contemporary, flamenco, jazz, ballet, improvisation.<br />
During the same year she also did one year intense couching program for dancers, in Step Up Dance School, Helsinki, Finland. The program consisted of street dances, modern, show, jazz, stretching, yoga and many performances.<br />
Since 2008 Marja-Leena has been studying dance (Bachelor of Arts) at the University of Music and Dance Cologne / Centre for Contemporary Dance (CCD).</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Kokomini Nemesi was born in 1987 in Hungary and grew up in Berlin. She is a student at the Centre for Contemporary Dance at the University for Music and Dance, Cologne. During her studies she danced in several projects, f.ex. “Am I out?” by Anouk van Dijk or  “Urban Fragments”, an intercultural project with African and German artists. She spent one semester in Iceland at the Iceland Academy of Arts in Reykjavik to study Contemporary Dance there. She joined projects with Eleonore Valere and Roberto Olivan. Before that she studied dance at a school for fine arts in Berlin. Next to Contemporary Dance she spends time on belly dance, which she did for many years in Berlin and Budapest as a solo dancer and in groups and in which she also won a price at the Raks Sharki belly dance festival in Budapest.</p>
