Richter, Christiaan

Christiaan Richter (Utrecht, 26 March 1990) is a Dutch composer and pianist.

After having shown talent for music at a young age, Christiaan started to play the piano at the age of 7 and soon after that, he started to compose. In 2001 he participated in the Nieuwjaarsconcert with his composition Tree’s, with the Netherlands Wind Ensemble at the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, which was broadcasted live on television. Two times he won the 1st prize at the Prinses Christina Compositie Concours, in 2003 and 2007; with his composition iMageshe won the commission for the International Masterclass Apeldoorn at the Young Composers Meeting 2010 in Apeldoorn, and he won the Tera de Marez Oyens Prize 2011. Also, he wrote the compulsory piece for the Iordens Violin Days 2010 (category IIB).

Christiaan studies composition at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague with Martijn Padding and Diderik Wagenaar (and Calliope Tsoupaki 2008-2010), with a minor in music theory with Diderik Wagenaar, Paul Scheepers and Bert Mooiman, and piano lessons from Gerard Bouwhuis. He also took composition masterclasses from Richard Ayres, Jan van de Putte, Michael Smetanin and Helena Tulve.

Previously, Christiaan studied composition with Henk Alkema at the young talent class of the Utrecht Conservatory (2004-2008), and took piano lessons from a.o. Marcel Baudet, Ton Hartsuiker, Leon Bak, Henk Ekkel and Ko Zwanenburg.

Liebner, Lilly

Lilly Liebner (1990, Germany) studied at the State Ballet School of Berlin and the Palucca School in Dresden before entering the ArtEZ school of Dance in 2010. Lillies hart lies with improvisation and Forsythe. She worked with Jenny Cooga, Anouk van Dijk, William Forsythe and Patrick Delcroix amongst others.

Beurskens, Yeli

Yeli Beurskens (1992, the Netherlands) entered the ArtEZ school in 2009. She danced in various performances travelling around the country at summer festivals. Yeli followed courses at Deltebre Dansa, the Henny Jurriens Foundation, the P.A.R.T.S. SummerSchool and at the Maximum Dance Course amongst others. Yeli worked with Ann van den Broek, Julian Barnett and Sara Lourenco amongst others.

Magyar, Pál

Pál Magyar (1985, Hungary) studied at the Contemporary and Classical Formation of dance at AREA Barcelona and at the Budapest Contemporary Dance Academy before entering the ArtEZ school of Dance in 2009. Pál took classes from Erik Kaiel, Roberto Zappala, Angus Balbernie and Philip Taylor amongst others. He danced in works by Tony Vezich, Margharita Kennedy and in his own works.

Vogels, Noortje

Noortje Vogels (the Netherlands) joined the prepatary course of the Valuascollege in Venlo before entering the ArtEZ school of Dance in 2008. Noortje worked with Guy&Roni, Tony Verzich, Roberto Zappala and Sara Lourenco amongst others.

van den Hombergh, Nathalie

Nathalie van den Hombergh (the Netherlands) joined the prepatary course at the Fontys Dance Academy in Tilburg, studied at the Dance Teacher Department at the Theaterschool in Amsterdam before entering the ArtEZ school of Dance in 2009.

Apart from her modern classes Nathalie followed several workshops and courses in contact improvisation. Nathalie got classes from Hiske Dooper, Irene van Geest, Job Cornelissen, Marta Nejm and Tony Vezich amongst others.

Sögner, Mirjam

Mirjam Sögner (1990, Austria) went to the Conservatory in Vienna before entering the ArtEZ school of Dance where she is in her third year. In 2010 she started also the Honours Prgram at ArtEZ, an additional course in art theory and scientific/artistic research. Mirjam also follows the minor course in Choreography and making.

Mirjam worked with Akemi Takeya, Ann van den Broek and Joeri Dubbe amongst others.

Bernet, Marta Fleta

Marta Fleta Bernet (1987, Spain) went to the scenic arts center Carmen Roche in Madrid (2008-2009) and the formation course at Company&Company school in Barcelona before entering the ArtEZ school of Dance where she is in her third year now.

She joined masterclasses with Leine&Roebana, Jens van Daele, Rodolfo Castellanos and Esmeralda Maycas amongst others. Marta danced in work by Joeri Dubbe, Marco Goecke and Ann van den Broek amongst others.

Mészáros, Márk

Márk Mészáros (1986, Hungary) studies at the ArtEZ school of Dance since 2009. His interest lies in energetic dance, dance with pulse and vibe, floorwork, (contact) improvisation, dropping, weight, momentum and flow. Márk worked with Tony Vezich, Roberto Zappala, Jack Gallagher and Sjoerd Vreugdenhil amongst others. He danced in work by Barbar Ebner, Julian Bernett, Tony Venzich and his own work.

Nagel, Judith

Judith Nagel (1987, Germany) studied dance at the Conservatory of Vienna and at the Tanzgymnasium in Essen-Werden before entering the ArtEZ school of Dance where she studies since 2009. She danced in work by Ann van den Broek, Anne Gieseke, Manfred Aichinger and Jerome Meyer amongst others. Judith was chosen to attend the Honours Programme ‘Theorie en onderzoek in de kunsten’ at ArtEZ in 2010/2011.
