Next to his activities as dancer and choreographer, Michael is a teacher at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz, Köln and completing a post graduate Study at the Academy of Media Arts, Cologne.

In 2008 he won the dance film competition POOL08 and in the same year was awarded the Kunststiftung/NRW bursary for upcoming talent in the field choreography/dance. He danced with Ballet Nürnberg/Tanzwerk Nürnberg, Amanda Miller´s Ballett Freiburg Pretty Ugly, Kevin O’ Day Ballett (Nationaltheater Mannheim) and pretty ugly tanz köln. Michael was born in Brussels where he began his dance training, he later studied at the Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung in Munich and the Professional Ballet school in Zurich.
